    A good IELTS score depends on your goal, like study abroad, visa, or job. Different universities and organizations may want different IELTS scores, so it is important to check their requirements.  In general, a score of 6.5 or more is called a good IELTS score. But it can change depending on your needs and the requirements. There are some top universities which demand high IELTS scores. 

  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) scores are required to get admission in UG and PG courses abroad and to obtain PR in English-speaking countries. IELTS Scores are calculated on a scale of 1 to 9. An IELTS Score of 7.0 and above is generally considered as a good IELTS Score as this would eligible the candidate to apply to most universities abroad without worrying more on English language proficiency cut off. However, this may differ based on the individual's needs and the requirements of the institutions applicants are applying to.
