Hi There, There is absolutely no comparison between CAT and MAT
    1. CAT is far more better than MAT as it is conducted by IIM and it is the only exam that if you crack, can give you a ticket to IIM while MAT is the least rated amongst all the entrance exams and is accepted by only low and average ranked colleges which would hardly give you any placement
    2. CAT is conducted once in an year while MAT is conducted 4 times an year
If you are to take my advice, I would suggest you start preparing for CAT. Also do take up XAT and CMAT. XAT is accepted by Xaviers
    3. CAT is accepted by all the colleges while MAT is only accepted by TIER 3 colleges.

IIMs don't accept any MAT scores, they don't accept any other exam except CAT the only way to get into IIM is through CAT exam. CAT is better than MAT if you are aiming for IIM or top b-school. MAT is given by average students who end up in average b-school. CAT is accepted by almost Iims and all top b-schools whereas MAT is accepted by fewer colleges only. CAT is the toughest to crack out of all MBA entrance exams. You can also given SNAP XAT TISS, CMAT to get into good b-school.
    1. MAT happens 4 times every year while CAT only happens once a year in November,

In general, as per available education sources, the CAT cutoff for FLAME University lies around 70–75 percentiles for the 2025 admissions. Though this score helps the candidates qualify for the shortlisting stage, FLAME follows a holistic selection process; hence, the final admission also depends on academic records, interviews, and overall profile strength.
