    Dimensional analysis is a method to analyze physical quantities dimensions. It helps in deriving relationships between quantities, converting units and checking the correctness of the equations. NCERT Solutions for Units and Measurements class 11 shows how each physical quantity can be expressed, explains dimensional analysis with examples and uses base dimensions like time (T), length (L) and Mass (M). Dimensional analysis is a useful technique in verifying whether a derived formula is dimensionally consistent. This technique allows one to convert units from one system to another, especially while solving numerical problems. NCERT sol

There are three main processes Isothermal, adiabatic and cyclic process. In isothermal, the system is thermally conductive and the temperature remains constant. In adiabatic process, the system is thermally isolated and there is no change in heat temperature. The system returns to its initial stage in the cyclic process.

In NEET entrance test, the weightage of Class 11 Physics Chapter 11 Thermodynamics is around 7%. Students should thoroughly understand the thermodynamic laws and internal energy. The medical entrance test includes theory and numerically-based questions. For JEE Main, the chapter has more significance, and it has nearly 15% weightage of the total Physics syllabus.

Let us consider a vector P? . The equation can be written as

Px = Py = 1 P? = (Px2+Py2) P? = (12+12)P? = 2 …….(i)

So the magnitude of vector i? + j? = 2

Let θ be the angle made by vector P? , with the x axis as given in the above figure

tan?θ = Px/Pyθ = tan-1?(1/1) , θ = 45 ° with the x axis

Let Q? = i? - j?

Qx?i? – Qy? j? = ( i? – j?)

Qx? = Qy? = 1

Q? = Qx2+Qy2 = 2

Hence Q? = 2 . Therefore the magnitude of ( i? + j?) = 2

Let θ
