GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test for engineering. It is conducted by IIT's for Engineering Graduates. It is online exam that covers general aptitude, technical aptitude sections with negative marking. It is useful for getting admissions for post-graduation as well as, it provides opportunities for government jobs.

9 years agoGATE is an examination conducted by IITS and ISC Bangalore every year for engineering and some subjects of science every year to get admission in the different colleges across the India and also to get a job in PSU.

Candidates will get only one scribble pad at a time. They must write their name and registration number before using it. If the rough sheet gets filled, then they can ask for another one scribble pad after returning the previous one to the invigilator. After the exam concludes, candidates must return the scribble pad to the invigilator.
