    It is an exam for the entrance as well as scholarship purpose. This year, due to covid-19, university has exempted it from various programmes but for the programme like B.Tech. It is still compulsory. This exam can lead to a huge amount of scholarship. This is an aptitude test covers the syllabus from the students last qualification. This year as per the rules defined by government, to facilitate the students LPU is conducting this exam through online proctored mode.     LPU NEST is a national level objective test with no negative marking which is conducted by LPU. LPU is an international university having 200+ courses.     LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test is mandatory for some of the courses as it acts as the basis of eligibility for the scholarship for most of the programmes.     LPU NEST Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test is conducted by LPU for two purposes, Ascertaining Eligibility to some programs like B.Tech, PG Sciences, LL. M. and Ph.D. etc. And scholarship for all the other programs. Due to Covid 19 situation and lockdown the test will now only be conducted online that too remotely proctered. LPU NEST based scholarships have benefited more than 50000 students in last 8 to 10 years. Hope this helps

    Last year one of my colleague's daughter appeared in LPU NEST where she was told that LPU NEST is National Eligibility and Scholarship Test which is conducted for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for the scholarship for most of the programmes. LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking.     There is only one test that is LPU-NEST which has both advantage of getting admission as well as scholarship too. LPU has very good reputation and placements, infrastructure & faculty is good but try to get in touch with any college student of LPU that will help you more and will be able to get the actual details of that college.

    Lovely Professional University conducts LPU NEST (National Entrance and Scholarship Test). The entrance exam is conducted for various courses where the eligibility criteria is to qualify it as a mandate requirement and for other courses it is a scholarship test

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
