What is proctored online exam paper introduced at LPU.

HiLPU realizes that paradigm changes are happening around the world. Rapidly changing business landscape requires young leaders to not only understand developing economies but also develop a global perspective at the same time in order to be an integral part of the growth of the economy. After the authorization from competent government authorities LPU has started online proctored entrance/ eligibility tests keeping in mind the situation created in the country due to covid. The safety of the candidate is of utmost importance for LPU. Hence such online proctored tests ar being conducted this time. The tests need a desktop/ laptop with the facilities of web cam, audio and video. The artificial Intelligence keeps a check on the student's performing the test. If any discrepancy is monitored in such tests like unnecessary movement of eye balls, the test is cancelled with immediate effect. HiThe grim situation of the country due to covid has instigated institutions to come up with novel ideas to keep life safe. One such initiative is the online proctored exams conducted by the university. This way the candidate is able to give his entrance/ eligibility test right from his home. Such tests need a laptop or a desktop which is well-equipped with a web cam, audio and video facilities. The exams are proctored by the artificial intelligence system and the vigilant eye of the proctor would terminate the test if any discrepancy is found in the form of the movement of the eye ball etc. This method has the approval of the competent authorities of the government. Dear Megha, Since there is a nationwide lockdown, the movement restrictions lead to this great innovation. The remotely proctored exam is basically LPU NEST which the students appear in, sitting at home. There is use of highly sophisticated AI tools to monitor the movement of face, eyeballs etc. Which ensures that exam is given by fair means. Being a timed exam. It further eliminates the chances of unfair means. So, for benefit of students who apply for LPU NEST either for scholarship or for Eligibility, LPU's prowess in technology has came in handy.
