What is the admission criteria for top 5 B.Arch colleges in India?

    The first condition on which you must choose institute/university is COA approval because the programme requires. Last year one of my niece was interested to take admission in B.Arch and after lot of inquiry we finalised LPU because of the following:
    #COA Approved courses
    #School of Architecture that provides differential programme outcome from basic to the advanced one
    #School offers Core Courses, Supporting Courses, Skill Development Courses, Management Courses, Elective Courses
    #The curriculum is benchmarked against the most renowned institutions of the world
    #Focus is on application oriented teaching with live architecture design projec

    Hi there, he Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch is - 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics ( and also 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics) + NATA 2020 / JEE Main (Paper-II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2020-21)
    or
    60% with Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government.     Any child who wishes to go for career in architecture are supposed to have basic qualification of a pass in class 12th with min 50% marks along with compulsory subject of mathematics or pass class 10th + 3 years Diploma in any stream from a recognised university/ board/ institution. to get admission for B.Arch in the top colleges, all student must have appeared for the national level entrance exams. Some of the popular exams that are accepted at the national level across the top colleges are AIEEE Architecture exam, JEE, NATA, AAT, COMEDK.

    All students of the prospective desire to pursue a course in architecture are required to have some basic qualification.     There are various entrance exams organized by various colleges for admission in B.Arch in India.
    1. Sir J.J. College of Architecture
    This is one of the best colleges for architecture and 1st college of Asia, established in 1913. This college takes admission for B.Arch through MHTCET exam organized by Maharashtra government.
    2. IIT Roorkee
    IIT Roorkee is one of the best IIT colleges for B.Arch. For taking admission in IIT Roorkee students have to clear JEE Mains and Advance and then aspirants have to appear in AAT exam for admissions.
    3. IIT Kharagpur
    IIT Kharagpur also follows the same procedure for admission as IIT Roorkee does.
