    Karnataka students have to appear for either KCET for admission into B.Tech at University College of Engineering or COMEDK UGET and for students other than Karnataka JEE Main Score is also considered relevant. For admission, the candidate should have an average of forty-five percent in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry and 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics.] KCET cutoff ranks fall between 1,500 to 10,000 and COMEDK between 5,000 to 20,000. The total intake of students is 360 that comprises 50% seats for Karnataka students and 50% for other than Karnataka students and counseling is done through KEA.

    The admission process of B.Tech. at University College of Engineering includes several major steps.
