The admission process for NIT Trichy depends on the programme you are interested in. For undergraduate programmes, such as B.Tech and B.Arch, you need to appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced and qualify the cutoffs. NIT Trichy admission process is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are required to qualify for national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, IIT JAM, CAT, etc., for the respective courses. Apart from that, candidates must also have to appear for the additional selection rounds such as Personal Interview (PI) round for MBA. Candidates who obtain a valid score as per the course's requirements in the respective entrance exam will have to register and appear for the counselling process conducted by specific counselling bodies.
