Dear Student, B.Sc Agriculture is one of the most booming course these days. This program equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture. LPU has Hons program in same as B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. Hi, There is a direct admission if you are Passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. For admissions 2020, due to COVID-19, there is an online process for admission. LPU also offers different types of scholarships. The last date of admission to avail maximum scholarship benefit is 31st May 2020.

The admission will be direct if you have the following eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)- Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Dear Student, I feel LPU is going to be a good choice as it is a reputed and established name in the field of education. They have made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories. Also, if we talk about placements, LPU is having best placements. Agriculture courses of the university are ICAR approved. LPU is the first private university to have ICAR approval. The university works for the overall development of its students. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% Admission Criteria Merit in qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria. How to Apply? STEP 1 - Signup Register to LPUs admission portal with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPUs admission portal with already created username/ password.

You can apply for LPU-NEST exam and if your percentage is 60% or more than that, then also, you can get admission.

Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Qualifying LPUNEST and Pass with 60% aggregate marks in: (a) 10+2 or Intermediate (with English*, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR (b) 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR (c) 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST.
