    Honestly I don't have idea about SRm University placements for mechanical Engineering, I would say Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies.     The placements are good at SRM University for mechanical engineering department. For mechanical engineering the major recruiters are L&T, Kirloskar, Amaron, Mahindra, Ford, Nissan, Mahindra, Infosys, TCS etc. You can think of joining SRM University if you are not able to qualify for Top IITs and NITs and few other institutions.     No college promise for mechanical branch placement. In last either mechanical guys learn coding and get placed in IT companies or they prepare for government jobs. Rest is your choice.
