What is the condition of placement for a BCA at LPU?

As LPU comes among under one of the top university and LPU is one among them which outperforms in placement. I think you should not worry about the placements. Cultural activities, sports and Events are the energy booster.

Placements: Placements in our college are good if you are a brilliant student and you have better ideas and projects with you. Internship experience also helps. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is between 9 LPA to 11 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, and many other companies visit our campus for placements. But this is BCA that's why a lot of students think to do MCA from foreign universities. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best. I live in the hostel, the rooms are good, and you will get the best food in the mess. If you don't opt for the mess, there are more than 100 shops where you get tasty food inside the campus. For non-veg, there is only one place named Food Factory. All sports facilities are available. For a sports enthusiast, it's the best place. NCC and NSS activities are also available. A ton of various clubs and organizations are there to help you in building a good personality. Faculty: The course pattern per semester is very good. You have to learn everything step by step and the subjects are easy. If you are from a mathematical background, then it's effortless for you to score good marks. In LPU, a medical student can also take admission to BCA. Teachers are good, some are very good, but some are very bad because they are very young and they don't have experience in how to deal with the students. Other: You will find an event every day on campus. Scholarships are good here. I too joined this college because of the scholarship. THANK YOU!

Being an LPU alumni, I am well versed with the fact that LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services, Center for Professional Enhancement and faculty/staff from parent Schools. Talking particularly about BCA placements, renowned companies visit every year for various industry-academia activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU which I got to know about from my friend pursuing BCA at LPU. Major Brands that have recruited LPU students from BCA background in last few years are: Mahindra, Wipro, Morgan Stanley, Informatica, LG Soft India, capgemini and many more. My friend got placed in one of the company where she is earning a hand some amount and is well settled. Definitely one should consider all the aspects when taking admission in any programme, and about LPU the records are sky high.

The BCA programme intends to impart knowledge on the basics of computer application and software development. BCA subjects include database management systems, software engineering, operating systems, web technology and computer languages. The programme is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource-optimised software/website/cloud/mobile applications. The programme provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology, Imparts knowledge on networks tools and techniques by understanding various existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The course includes Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote procedures. Simulating the physical layer basics, network protocol algorithms, error handling, flow control, multihop routing network reliability, timing, advanced network protocols, and infrastructure, applications of high-performance networks. Computer architecture is a set of rules and methods that describe the functionality, organisation, and implementation imparting knowledge with a systematic way to create, retrieve, update and manage data. This course would examine the concepts and principles of DBMS, database design, data modelling, database management, data &amp; query optimization, and database implementation. LPU provides skill on the system software for creating and managing database learning and how programmers create, retrieve, update and manage data. It provides knowledge of relational database models, manipulating data with an interactive query language (SQL), and database programming. The highest salary offered was 19.25 LPA and the average package was 3.1lpa.
