Interior design is all about turning spaces into something amazing and functional. If we talk about Chandigarh University, it offers a B.Sc. in Interior Design through its University Institute of Design. The cause here is a mix of creativity and practicality.  You get to learn stuff like architecture, AutoCAD, furniture design, photography, and even how to create cool illustrations and drawings. BDes in Interior Design is a 4-year programme that contains 8 equal semesters. Since the Interior Design specialisation is more about the artistic approach, the course structure offers students with both theory and practical knowledge. During the program, students along with theoretical subjects also study practical subjects and work on projects like Office Interior Design and Renovation, Reinstatement of Commercial Units, Retail Interior Design, etc.

Meanwhile, many BDes colleges also include a 3 to 6-month mandatory internship for students to let them work in a real-world scenario and gain experience.
