    After clearing UGC NET exam, you may find some excellent teaching job opportunities in your subject of post-graduation or in a related subject. You can go for positions like a lecturer and assistant professor after few years of job experience.

    To become a lecturer is a great ambition as it is one of the respectful job which helps to mold the future of many students. One can be a lecturer in government colleges or institute through the recruitment exams.
    The Central board of secondary education conducts a national eligibility test (NET) for the lectureship or assistant professor.

    After Cracking UGC NET exam, you can apply for lecturership or Junior Research Fellowship in any university across the country. Your selection will be based on the marks scored by you in UGC NET. There are three stages after getting selected-
    Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.
