What is the criteria for BTech in VIT Vellore?

<p>For those interested in pursuing B.Tech. Biotechnology or Biomedical engineering, the eligible combination is either Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). A pass with Minimum aggregate of 55% in the above mentioned subjects in standard XII or its equivalent.</p><p>VIT Vellore UG Eligibility Criteria</p><p>Courses Eligibility Criteria</p><p>B.Com HSC - Min. 60% marks in Commerce/Accountancy/Mathematics</p><p>BBA</p><p>B.Des Industrial Design Class 12th - At least 60% in PCM (50% marks for SC/ST)</p><p>BE/B.Tech Class 12th - At least 55% marks in Science streams (45% marks for SC/ST)</p>

<p>Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ ST/ applicants hailing from Jammu &amp; Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. Apart from the qualification, candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:</p><ul><li>Applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO</li><li>Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech</li><li>Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.</li></ul>
