Mass communication deals with the procedure of conveying or transmitting a message to the general population through media like radio, newspapers, magazines, television, internet and so on. However, journalism is concerned with the compilation and transmission of news through the print media and electronic media. LPU School of Journalism and Film Production organized a national conference on Contemporary Perspectives in Design and Creative Arts' (CPDCA 2018) to have a holistic understanding of issues relating to space, forms, frugality, sustainability and functionality in design and creative arts.
