    SSC MS stands for Staff Selection Commission exam for Multi-Tasking Staff. SSC MS is an examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The SSC conducts recruitment for Multitasking Staff posts in various departments and offices under the Central Government of India.
  • SSC CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level Exam while CHSL is Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) exam.     Both SSC CGL and MS exam are conducted by staff Selection commission but a graduate above the age of 18 years with a bachelor's degree can appear for SSC CGL exam but the minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in SSC MS exam is 10th pass. SSC CGL exam is of graduation levels and the level of the exam is comparable higher than the MS exam through SSC CGL exam the candidates can join the group B and Group C post under different ministries and departments like income tax inspector assistant section Officer accounts audit officer sub-Inspector in CBI etc. The work profile of officers through SSC CGL exam is both clerical and field work

    There are the following differences between the SSC CGL and SSC MS exams:
    1. The SSC CGL is held to fill Group B and Group C positions in the government. In contrast, SSC MS is typically used to recruit government multitasking personnel.
    2. Only graduates can appear in the SSC CGL exam, whereas any 10th-passed candidate can apply for the SSC MS exam.
    3. The minimum age limit for applying for the SSC CGL is 20, whereas it is 18 years for the SSC MS
    4. There are four stages in the SSC CGL exam, whereas there are only two stages in the SSC MS exam.
    5. SSC CGL is comparably tougher but has a better salary and perks than SSC MS.
  • SSC CGL exam is basically an exam conducted in order to recruit candidates for official posts in various departments related to government of India. An undergraduate can apply for this exam. MS exam stands for Master of Science exam and is an exam to get admitted into the postgraduate course which is M.Sc. It is a semester level exam and undergraduates can apply.
