What is the difference between universities & colleges in Canada for Masters? I'm not eligible for universities, can I go to colleges?

    Hi Hari Prasad, The main differences are in terms of admission requirements, selectivity and expense. Colleges are comparatively way cheaper than universities and have slightly easier admission rules. For example, for admission to a Master's degree course, the colleges may accept a three-year degree which universities do not accept in contrary. Admission standards are higher in university and it prefers students with more than 70% in most cases but for colleges, it is not the case, though the colleges are also very competitive, you can apply if you have a decent score, but above 55%.
