The UTET minimum qualifying marks are similar to the cutoff marks. Officially, there is no UTET cut-off. However, the UTET cut-off is often referred to as the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates belonging to the General category need to secure at least 90 marks (60 per cent) in order to qualify for the UTET passing marks. On the other hand, reserved category candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category need to obtain a minimum of 82 marks (55 per cent) in order to qualify UTET exam.
