The salary & remuneration difference for Ground staff members and cabin crew members is because if their different work domains. The ground staff is generally underpaid as compared to cabin crew members. The reason being, cabin crew members have to be more attentive and job performer than ground staff members. Although it also depends upon which airlines you are cabin crew and on which airport you are a ground staff member. Some airlines paid more, some less. For Ground Staff, the salary would be around INR 4-5 LPA depending upon your designation.
For Cabin Crew, your package would start from INR 5-6 LPA initially, once you are released from training to fly. And, it increases as the number of hours you fly in a month and also increases according to your seniority and grade.

Salaries: It's always a debating point when compared with two dissimilar job profiles. One set of people get less while others get more. There will be grievance from those who are paid less. Those who are paid more will justify it! In civil aviation, military and other walks of life this disparity persists. In aviation, ground staff invariably gets paid less as compared with cabin crew.
