How can I take admission in biomedical engineering and what is the duration of the course? I also need to know about the fee structure of this course.

Generally, any Bachelor of Engineering in India will span a duration of 4 full academic years which will include 8 semesters i.e; 2 semesters each year at the end of which an university theory cum practical examination for the respective subjects will be conducted. At the end of the final year a final project becomes compulsory, internships and mini projects which are to be done by the student vary from one university to the other. It is 4 years comprising of 8 semesters normally and will be governed by APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University norms. There is however provision to take a break from the study for start ups and continue the program later. A student may break study for a maximum duration of two semesters, preferably in one academic year, to initiate start-up ventures, product development etc. This is however permitted only on successfully completing the courses listed out in the first four semesters.
