What is the duration of biomedical engineering course offered by GMEC Kochi?

How can I take admission in biomedical engineering and what is the duration of the course? I also need to know about the fee structure of this course.

Generally, any Bachelor of Engineering in India will span a duration of 4 full academic years which will include 8 semesters i.e; 2 semesters each year at the end of which an university theory cum practical examination for the respective subjects will be conducted. At the end of the final year a final project becomes compulsory, internships and mini projects which are to be done by the student vary from one university to the other. As far as the studying of subjects are concerned, it depends on the syllabus of each university that how much main subjects it allots per semester but a minimum of five subjects is expected to be written as

It is 4 years comprising of 8 semesters normally and will be governed by APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University norms. There is however provision to take a break from the study for start ups and continue the program later. A student may break study for a maximum duration of two semesters, preferably in one academic year, to initiate start-up ventures, product development etc. This is however permitted only on successfully completing the courses listed out in the first four semesters.
