B.Tech. (ME-Mechatronics) lateral entry is 3 years of duration with eligibility as: 60% in Diploma (Engg. - any stream) i.e. 3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc (Non- medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent.*
Now-a-days this field is high in demand. One of my friend's brother took admission in LPU and appreciated the efforts of the staff of University .

If you are a diploma student than to take admission in B.Tech. (ME-Mechatronics) lateral entry, a student should have 60 percentages of marks in their three years of diploma engineering. With that, you can apply for admission in the course of B.tech. (ME-Mechatronics) lateral entry which is also of 3 years of duration.

LPU floats more than 250 programmes including diploma, lateral entry and degree courses.

As per final year student of mechatronics at LPU, lateral entry students get entry in second year of B.Tech, thus only for 3-years duration they have to study.

The duration of B.Tech. (LE) programme is 3 years (6 semester). Students are eligible to take admission in B.Tech. (LE) programme after the completion of 3 years Diploma after 10th.
