There is no eligibility and criteria for android development. Anyone having interest and knowledge in programming can develop android apps are some time and dedication. Hello, Learning Android will open the horizon for your career. In India, there are large number of Android user and are supposed to be increasing in coming years. So, learning the android will be very beneficial for you. According to the current IT market, Android development is playing a decent role. Some specific companies are eagerly looking for the developers who has exposure to the Android language. Only learning Android language will not give benefits to you either short time or long term. You should also learn some Frameworks, which can helps you to get knowledge about how application actually works. Generally, object creation and object invocation will be taken care by framework in all the feasible applications. So if you have knowledge in Android, Framework and Database will always keep you in a better position. Minimum educational qualification required to become an Android Developer is to complete graduation in any stream. For technical background: If you have a technical background then as I said you have knowledge about some primary computer language and other stuff like below: - OOPS Concepts - Java - XML - Database - JSON You have to know average 6-7 out of 10 in all above concepts if you are coming from the technical field. For non-technical background: If you are from non-technical background then you need to start from primary things like below in sequential: - What is a computer language? - What are OOPS concepts? - What is Java class and Object? - How can I use XML to design a layout? There are many books for beginners who don't know the answer of above questions.
