In order to get admission to the Bioinformatics course, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate
- Class 12 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics)
- Minimum of 50% marks
Postgraduate
- Bachelor's degree in Physical, Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology or Biomedical Engineering or Medicine
- The MBBS, BAMS, and BHMS candidates are also eligible for a master’s course in Bioinformatics
Doctoral
- A Master's degree in Mathematics/Science, or
- Bachelor's degree in Biotech/Bioinformatics is required
