<p>Candidates for admission to the five-year BS-MS dual degree programme provided by Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) must pass an entrance exam. The candidate can be admitted to IISER at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, or Tirupati based on the results of the IISER entrance exam, which is also known as the IISER aptitude test. Those who completed their science-focused Class 12 coursework are qualified to apply for the 2024 IISER admission exam. According to the format of the IISER entrance exam, students get three hours to finish all sixty objective questions. Applicants must have completed a scientific stream Class 12 (or equivalent) test in order to be considered.</p>

Candidates who are NOT Indian nationals or PIO or OCI can apply for admission only through the JEE Advanced channel.</li><li>Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with Science stream in 2024 or 2025 from any board recognised by Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE.</li><li>Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology Chemistry Mathematics and Physics during their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.</li><li>&nbsp;Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class XII (or equivalent) exam.</li></ol>
