The eligibility criteria for applying to the IISER 2024 entrance exam are as follows:
Nationality:
- Indian Nationals
- Persons with Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card (can apply through KVPY or IAT channel only)
- Foreign Nationals (can apply through JEE (Advanced) channel only)
Educational Qualification:
- Passed Class XII (or equivalent) exam in Science stream in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from a recognised board.
- Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics during Class XII.
Minimum Marks:
- Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in Class XII exam for general category
- SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Minimum of 55
