    Candidates seeking admission to BA at Shyam Lal College are required to pass the Class 12. Apart from the eligibility criteria, candidates must appear for the CUET with the following subject combinations according to the specialisation as mentioned below:

    Course Name

    CUET Subject Combinations

    BA

    Combination I:

    Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2
    OR
    Combination II:

    Any one Language from List A + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2 + Section III of CUET (General Test)
    BA combination, where Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications/ CS is one of the two core disciplines, it is mandatory that candidates must have passed Maths in Class 12. Similarly, wherever a language is being offered as one of the two disciplines, candidates must have a working knowledge of that language

    BA (Hons) English

    English from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

    BA (Hons) Hindi

    Hindi from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

    BA (Hons) History/ Political Science

    Any one Language from List A + Any two subjects from List B1 + Any one subject from either List B1 or List B2

    BA (Hons) Economics

    Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which one should be from List B1

    Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 45 percent marks in total. Shyam Lal College admission for UG programmes is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA.
