You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. According to the recent NIRF ranking, 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all government and private universities in India. Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many IITs. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. The eligibility criteria for LPU courses will be different from one course to another. Students need to have a complete awareness of eligibility criteria for courses offered LPU at various levels. Especially for programme B.Tech, the eligibility criteria is 60% aggregate marks with Physics Maths English . And also have to qualify for the LPU NEST exam which is conducted by the university itself. You may get a scholarship as well on the basis of marks achieved in the LPU NEST exam. The steps to apply for admission at LPU-
1. Firstly, Go to the LPU website and there is an option for Apply Now. Or directly visit
2. Register onto LPUs admission portal with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No). Your email id will act as your username for the portal, and the password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
3. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
4. Log in to the LPUs admission portal with the already created username/password
apply for the LPU NEST test
5. Book your exam slot for the exam ( exam date preference will be asked)
6. The next step will be the result and seat allotment ( online counseling)
7. After seat allotment, you need to pay the semester fee and will get the registration number of the university. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is that candidate must be Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.
