    You can take admission as per the eligibility on the LPU website. The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. According to the recent NIRF ranking, 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all government and private universities in India. Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many IITs.     Dear Prahalad, It is very easy to apply for admission at LPU. My cousin took admission recently at LPU in the B.Tech programme. Let me share how he applied for admission this year. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. The eligibility criteria for LPU courses will be different from one course to another. Students need to have a complete awareness of eligibility criteria for courses offered LPU at various levels.     The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is that candidate must be Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2.     Well, in the situation of covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. For admissions in B.Tech programme the eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.
