What is the eligibility criteria to get admission in LPU and how are the placements for B.Tech and M.Tech?

LPU conduct its own exam to entrance in college, and it gives scholarship, according to marks in exam and placements are good in LPU.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech: Pass with aggregate of 60% plus with Physics, Maths and English and appear in LPUNEST/JEE Mains. The counseling is done online for seat allocation. The last date to apply for special schedule has already lapsed yesterday 20th April. Now the applications will be invited for regular counselling schedule until first week of May (exact date to be declared on university website). Following programs are available: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Mechanical Engineering (ME) Biotechnology (BT) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) ME-Mechatronics Food Technology Information Technology (IT) Automobile Engineering (AE) Biomedical Engineering (BE) Electrical Engineering (EE) Aerospace Engineering Chemical Engineering (CHE) Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Civil Engineering (CE) Petroleum Engineering Eligibility criteria for M Tech: pass with aggregate of 60% plus in B.Tech or relevant PG course like MCA etc. The admission is offered on basis of merit. Following programs are available for M Tech: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Mechanical Engineering (ME) Biotechnology (BT) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Automobile Engineering (AE) Food Technology Electrical Engineering (EE) Civil Engineering (CE) With a large number of specializations within the streams. Coming to placements: LPU has a spectacular placement record as more than 600 companies including about 100 from fortune 500 ones regularly visit the campus for recruitment. Every year almost all the eligible students kick start their career from campus. The highlights of the current passing batch have been placements in Microsoft at 42 LPA and Trident at 28 LPA. Rest assured, if you are able to get the admission and work reasonably well to achieve good CGPA, your placement is no problem at all.

Prahalad, the eligibility for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) OR In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or JEE (Main) will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. The eligiblity for M.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.E. or B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation or Telecommunication or Electronics) or M.Sc. (Physics or Electronics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017 or GATE. OR In case marks scored in graduation are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 or GATE will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. The placements in LPU are very good with ample opportunities being offered to each and every eligible student. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several Big Brands of the industry visit LPU campus for campus placements.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. From infrastructure to faculty members. From education quality to rankings and facilities in university. In everything LPU performed remarkable. The centralized system of LPU is so much strong that makes things easy to understand. The most important priorities of LPU is best quality of education and placements at great places. LPU is a premier institute of India with best placement records. From many years LPU students are getting placed in national and multinational companies with handsome packages due to visit of more than 250 companies in the campus. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. The eligibility criteria to take admission in LPU (Lovely Professional University) is quite clear. Just clear it's eligibility criteria and obtain a good score in its entrance test and pay the fees and you are done.
