    Eligibility for admission is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent. The programme at LPU deals with theoretical and practical background in all the areas of criminalistics which demonstrates proficiencies in laboratory skills like forensic molecular biology, forensic chemistry and toxicology. Due to increase in crime rate and criminals, the scope of Forensic Science is increased exponentially. There are lots of job opportunities in the field of Forensic Science. The need of forensic scientists is huge all around the world, especially in India.

    There are many institutes who this course but being an education counsellor, I keep an eye on what is offered in other institutes. On rigorous review I conclude that B.Sc. Forensic Science of LPU is best one.     Basic eligibility is class 12th. It has emerged out of B.Sc Bio. There is a very wide scope. Almost all states have forensic laboratories, in many places to aid police investigation. You can get a job there.
