Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
Courses Eligibility M.E./M.Tech Candidates must have passed bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained atleast mentioned marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category of Karnataka) at the qualifying examination are eligible to apply. B.E. / B.Tech Candidates passed Diploma are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions. MCA The candidate should have passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University) are eligible to apply. The candidate should have obtained at least mentioned marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
OR
The candidate shall have passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent Degree are also eligible to apply.MBA/PGDM Candidates who have passed recognised Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum mentioned marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination and mentioned marks in case of SC, ST and Category - I of Karnataka candidates (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka candidates).
