What is the fee structure for B.Sc in forensic science course in LPU?

Hi, The eligibility of Forensic Science at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) (10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (I. e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University). Fee Per semester without scholarship is Rs 68000. They provide scholarships on various category.

Forensic Science is a specially designed programme to produce highly competent professionals in the field, keeping in mind the continuously increasing demand of trained professionals in this area. The programme not only emphasizes on in-depth learning but also on thorough lab training including dissertations/ projects under competent guides. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. The fee of Forensic Science is 68000 per semester but LPU also offers scholarship based on various categories like previous qualification percentages, LPU NEST exam, national level test, defense personnel or CAPF dependents and many more. Whichever will be the best applicable that will be reduced from the fees of every semester. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester.

Fee depends on your class 12th percentage or LPU-NEST performance. If you have 98% or above aggregate marks in class 12th or 90% marks in LPU-NEST then fee would be Rs 24,500 per semester. If you have 90% - 97.99% aggregate marks or top 10% students of LPU-NEST ,then fee would be Rs 34,500 per semester. If you have 80%-89.99% aggregate marks or next 10% (11% - 20%) students of LPU-NEST then fee would be Rs. 39,500 per semester. If you have 70%-79.99% aggregate marks or next 15% (21%- 35%) students of LPU-NEST then fee would be Rs. 445,00 per semester. If you have less than 70% in 12th or you are not among top 35% student of LPU-NEST for forensic Science then programme fee per semester is Rs 54,500.

Dear Vyshu, The fee of the B.Sc. In Forensic Science programme at LPU is Rs. 80000 without the scholarship. However, your fees will be reduced after the scholarship. Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R &amp; D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child (Need-Based) Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled rooms.
