As an alumni of LPU, i would like to answer this question as i have also gone through the same process for Admissions. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. So, qualifying the same only you can proceed for Admissions in that programme. LPU conducts LPU NEST for all the programmes. As per the website, last date to take admission is 31st May, 2021 with current fee structure and scholarship after that it may change but in my opinion do not wait till last date as the seats gets booked quickly and the scholarships benefits are reduced too. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. For most of the programmes, it serves both the purposes. As per the official website of LPU, the Schedule for LPU NEST has been started for all the programmes for this current session I. e 2021. As far as Scholarship is concerned, the amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPU NEST. Also, there is no negative marking in this exam so chances of scoring well are more in this. In order to apply for the Exam, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Being an alumni I would like to throw light on eligibility details. Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or UCEED.For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants) LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship.LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking. The registration of LPU NEST is open Online and you can apply for the LPU NEST. Due to the situation that is COVID-19, the exam dates will be informed based on the Government decision.One more important thing, you can find the syllabus of LPU NEST. Dear Ayush, The last date to apply for bachelor of designing (fashion designing) course is 15th July as per the LPU website but I highly recommend apply asap as LPU has few seats for this programme and competition is very high. My cousin missed admission last year because of the last date. LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility for some of the programmes and for a scholarship for most of the programmes. In every course you wish to opt for, sample papers are available on the website for your practice. The Sample Papers are just to help you practice the type of questions that can be asked in the final examination. It does not mean that the same question will be asked in the examination. Hi Ayush, the admission for B Design Fashion is still on. You can apply for LPUNEST online. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programmes. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. It's tough but those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. Application form will be in a format that can be processed by Optical Mark Reader (OMR).
