The requirement for KMAT score varies course-wise. Aspirants with a valid score in KMAT can get admission in MBA or MCA programmes. However, it is not compulsory to have a KMAT score for admission. Aspirants can also apply for MBA with Karnataka PGCET, CMAT or MAT scores. Candidates seeking admission in MCA can also apply through Karnataka PGCET scores.

While deciding between RNSIT and CMRIT, look at their overall profile. Both institutions have good placement, but higher salary packages were reported by CMRIT with a maximum of 16 LPA by VMware, while it was slightly lesser for RNSIT at 7-8 LPA. Both have similar infrastructure, but RNSIT is usually picked for its placement situation and the facilities. Both academically are well-known, with CMRIT having a slightly better student rating of 4.1 against RNSIT's 4.0. Finally, the decision rests on your preferences for placements, infrastructure, and academic reputation.
