IHM Kolkata is a reputed institute, and it holds a rank if it comes to doing hospitality and catering courses in India.
It was previously founded on Convent Road in Kolkata in 1963 with only 16 students. But recently, it has been shifted to Taratala Road, which is in Kolkata.
The institute is well-connected to the rest of the city by road and rail.
It is also accessible by bus and taxi.
