The REET 2023 exam (which most likely happened in 2023) followed a simple marking scheme:

    • One mark awarded for each correct answer: Every question you answer correctly fetches you one mark.
    • No negative marking: There's no penalty for incorrect answers or questions left unattempted. This means you shouldn't hesitate to guess if you're unsure about an answer.
    • Both REET Level 1 and Level 2 exams have a total of 150 marks with 150 questions.
  • The REET marking scheme has been given below for the candidates. The REET exam is taken for Level1 & Level 2 and both exam follows the same marking scheme. The marking scheme will help the candidates in understanding the exam pattern and in the preparation of the exam:
    a) Total number of questions: 150
    b) Total marks: 150
    c) Marks for correct answer: +1
    d) Marks for incorrect answer: 0
    e) Marks for Unanswered question: 0.
