What is the origin of Cambridge University?

<p>Rooting back to the 1200s, the University of Cambridge holds the baton of being the <strong>fourth the oldest university in the world</strong>. It was <strong>founded by a group of scholars</strong> in the city of Cambridge in the year <strong>1209</strong>. In 1284, the Bishop of fly founded <strong>Peterhouse - the first college in Cambridge University</strong>. It was followed by the <strong>St. Catherine's College in 1473</strong>, which was established with the help of Robert Woodlark. In <strong>1546</strong>, Henry VIII founded <strong>Trinity College</strong>, which is one of the most famous colleges of the Cambridge University. It is interesting to note that India's first prime minister <strong>Jawahar Lal Nehru entered the Trinity College</strong> of the university in <strong>1907</strong>.</p>
