Admission to all the Dyal Singh College courses is entrance-based. While Dyal Singh College accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, admission to all the PG programmes will be subject to the CUET PG exam starting admission 2024. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 and the CUET PG from 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. The eligibility requirements for all the popular programmes offered by the college are tabulated below:

    Course Name Eligibility Criteria
    BA Class 12
    BCom Class 12
    BSc Class 12
MA BA (Hons) English from University of Delhi or Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate for UR/ OBC-NCL/ EWS category and 45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates
MSc BA (Hons)/ BSc (Hons) Mathematics from University of Delhi or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with minimum 50% aggregate for UR/ OBC-NCL/ EWS category and 45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates
