What is the placement record for MBA in IM? Is the job profile relevant to civil? I have heard, placements of IM are irrelevant to civil.

There are placements relevant to civil offered on campus by many infrastructure companies. However the most sought after companies in IM offer project management roles in IT sector -
The average CTC is 9 lakhs in IM. The batch size was very small in the last batch. The first big batch of 30 students will pass out this year and hence we will get better picture this year only.
Yes, The course itself is not relevant to civil at all, It is more on the lines of project management, IT Consulting and general management roles - similarly the placement profiles.
