    In order to provide candidates admission to the university's BSc (Hons) programmes, Punjab University, Chandigarh, administers the Punjab University Common Entrance Test (PU CET). A university-level entrance exam called the PU CET (UG) is given once in a year. In order to appear in the entrance exam and submit an application for admission, candidates must complete the qualifying requirements. The entrance exam is administered offline (by pen and paper).
