What is the procedure to get admission in LPU in CSE branch? I have given LPUNEST and I wanted to know the criteria for selection in the CSE

Click on the Engineering tab under Discipline section. Select your Programme. Click on your preferred option from the programmes. The page that will open will contain the details about the eligibility, fee, Scholarship, how to apply procedure and other related details. There will be a tab of applying now and you can proceed from there. In case you are having 90 per cent or more marks in your 12th standard, then you can apply directly or otherwise, students having 60 per cent or more marks have to qualify for the entrance exam I. e. LPU NEST. You can apply for your entrance exam now and give your exam. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. From Google to Microsoft to Apple, Computer Science students of LPU are working with hundreds of leading IT giants of the world. As far as your admission steps related query is concerned, Once you are qualified in the LPU NEST exam. , you need to fill up your seat preference for Admission counselling from your portal. 30% (Variable) is the minimum cut-off of LPUNEST provided by the university yet the parameters on which the cut-off depends upon the number of candidates, the number of vacant seats, marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test cut-off of last year. The eligibility for B.Tech CSE is: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics, and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is a great examination. LPU NEST is a National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programs in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programs and for some of the tests of the program is applicable only for the scholarship. Well, LPU NEST is a huge opportunity for students to prove their self-worth and understanding of the concepts. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST&For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking. The registration of LPU NEST is open Online and you can apply for the LPU NEST. LPU admission criteria of B.Tech CSE: For B.Tech CSE you have to qualify LPU NEST with good rank, and satisfy the eligibility of B.Tech (CSE). Eligibility of B.Tech (CSE) is 60% in 12th with English Physics and Mathematics. Then on merit basis, you will get the branch. LPU CSE is very demanding branch, with good number of seats. As placement package reached upto 42LPA and 80k per month stipend.

Your email id will ACT as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal. You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this. Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password Step 2 - Application for Admission Recent Photograph Date of Birth proof (Matric Certificate Aadhaar card) Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of Step 3- Apply LPU NEST (for Scholarship) LPUNEST is an online test for scholarship. Student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test. Deposit the test fee: Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPU NEST Kit is 1000 (for Boys) and 500 (for Girls). Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is 1500 (for Boys) and 1000 (for Girls). Fill the test application form. STEP 4- Book the Exam Slot and Appear Book the slot (preferred venue, date and time) to appear in the LPU NEST Exam. Appear and qualify the exam. Dear Ankita, you need to qualify LPU NEST for admission in the programme in which admission is subject to qualifying LPU NEST. You will get the result after 24 hours of test. The instructions as per the admission will be mentioned along with the report card. You will also get to know the scholarship you earned, if any. After that you can deposit admission fee and secure your seat. In case of doubt you can call at the university numbers.
