What is the procedure to pursue a UG course in USA after doing 12th (science) from India? Is it mandatory to give JEE Mains for engineering?

Hi, to enroll into an undergraduate programme in USA, an applicant must clear the SAT or ACT. SAT subject tests are required by top ranking universities. You must also excel in extracurricular activities because universities wants to see how a student developed his profile in addition to schoolwork. JEE Mains is not required. Even if you are applying for an engineering course you must take SAT and SAT subject tests or ACT with writing. You must also take the TOEFL.
