The Basic qualification required to get a seat in Osmania University is that one should pass class 12th with 60% or more. The students who appear for its entrance exams among the general category and OBC students should clear the entrance exams with around 55% or more and SC and ST students should clear the exams with about 35% or more, after which seat allotment will be done based on the marks and rank obtained by the students.

University College of Engineering (UCE), Osmania University Hyderabad. The institute offers B.E. at the UG level, M.Tech (Full-time/Part-time), MCA at the PG level. The admission of the candidate will be based on the performance in their entrance. Candidate who scores 36% marks in Entrance Test under General and Backward Class category and 15% marks under the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category will be considered for admission.
