You must have a high CAT percentile for General Category, you must have a CAT percentile of 80 to 85 percentile. A decent GATE score ranging from 600 to 680 is required for M.Tech admission (depends on specialisation)
But one of the easiest exam which requires average cutoff is CUCET which is conducted by Chandigarh University. It is NAAC A accredited and has great placement opportunities. -

Hi Dear, I don't know about CAT but yes I can tell you about Chandigarh University.
