First, you take science group in 12th standard. Science group means botany and zoology included as subjects. If you have interest in science, you take that group, otherwise, leave it because it's very tough. Basically, 85% is enough to take microbiology group for higher studies.

For B.Sc in microbiology at Jaipur National University(https://www.jnujaipur.ac.in), minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 Sciences (Biology / Maths/ Agriculture/ Biotech or Equivalent ) minimum 45% marks at 10+2 level or equivalent with English as compulsory Subject.
