    Microbiology in medical term of logy means Study and Bio mean live Micro means micro-organism. As a whole microbiology means the study of living micro-organism. First, you take science group in 12th standard. Science group means botany and zoology included as subjects. If you have interest in science, you take that group, otherwise, leave it because it's very tough. Basically, 85% is enough to take microbiology group for higher studies.

    For B.Sc in microbiology at Jaipur National University(https://www.jnujaipur.ac.in), minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 Sciences (Biology / Maths/ Agriculture/ Biotech or Equivalent ) minimum 45% marks at 10+2 level or equivalent with English as compulsory Subject.

    Eligibility for B.Sc. in Microbiology:
    Completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) level of education
    Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects at HSC level
    Minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level
    Instead of Biology, one may even have had Zoology or Botany as one of the main subjects of study
