A normal Bachelor's degree in Optometry gets salary ranging from INR 10,000-35,000 in average. However, in some cases optometrist earn a decent salary by working with some top lens companies. But, starting salary is not that good if not done from a good institution you have to settle down with a low range of INR 5000-8000 pm, which will gradually increase but not more than INR 15,000. Better go for Masters.
