A student's comprehension and analysis of written content, along with their command of language and grammar, are evaluated in the SAT Reading & Writing portion. It is separated into two smaller sections: Language and Reading and Writing. Texts from literature, historical records, the social sciences, and the natural sciences make up the reading section.
