    B.Sc Student in biotechnology or any other biological sciences related fields, it is highly recommended that you pursue your M.Sc. The job opportunities for B.Sc. Graduates in a highly research oriented field such as biotechnology are very less and most students tend to pursue their M.Sc. In biotechnology or a specialised discipline of biotechnology. India is home to some excellent M.Sc. Programs such as JNU, DU, IISc, TIFR, IITs, etc. With an M.Sc. Degree, most students tend to work in research labs and industries as research assistants.     Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does. Some prominent industries where Biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- Pharmaceuticals industry, healthcare sector, chemical industry and research sector.
