    Many areas of plant biotechnology have developed through the interaction between various branches of biology and engineering; biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, chemistry, embryology, ecology, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology and immunology. All these disciplines of biology and on the engineering side chemical and biochemical engineering have helped to develop the different areas and branches of modern biotechnology.

    B.Sc. Plant biology and plant technology scope: Candidates can apply for jobs in agricultural sectors, chemical industries, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. Professionals can seek job opportunities in private sectors such as food processing and agro based industries, pharmaceutical farms and aquaculture. Rest it depends on the University from which you have done your Graduation. LPU is one of the best University that offers great opportunities in terms of placements and internships and offers great industrial exposure to its students as well.

    Hi Meenakshi, The question is subjective, the opinions may differ from person to person. Both these fields are specialisation specific, Simply graduating may not be enough, you might have to study further and go into research in a big way, M.Tech and Ph.D. would lead you to these organizations depending upon your research area. Pursuing these programs from ordinary colleges will not be enough, you will have to do these from top universities/colleges of high repute like LPU. You need to assess your interests and aptitude.
