Being an alumni I would like to answer. Students possessing excellent command over programming language, database management system, etc. Should opt for an MCA course instead of an MBA. The job opportunities are also increased to a larger scale with better job profiles. The pay scale of a BCA graduate after MCA is more than an MBA. If one has qualities like leadership, business management skills, risk management, etc. Should definitely go for MBA.
