What is the scope of computer engineering in India?

    Computer engineering: The scope in this field has always been high and is still growing. Almost all the engineering colleges including all the IITs, NITs, state universities and private engineering colleges offer computer science as one of the core streams. It simply overwhelms you with opportunities and till date offers one of the most high-paying jobs.

    Hello Anupam,
    CSE stream has got great job opportunities. Computer science offers a variety of options and opportunities on course completion. The obvious option of getting employed in software sector is quite alive, as more and more opportunities are getting created on a regular basis. Apart from that, computer science enthusiasts and graduates are also placed in a variety of sectors including information technology, system administration and banking.     See, if you become an expert in practicals or able to solve the problem on the job, it has a scope there. Today, there are a lot of courses like BCA, MCA, BE, ME, in computers but not able to work practically. So, there are no scope. So, its up to you whether how hard you are willing to do.

    B.Tech computer science has huge scope in India. After computer science, you have huge opportunities to work in software companies. Initially, salary range at average institutions is Rs.25, 000 per month to Rs.50, 000 per month. In IIT average salary is Rs.9 lakhs per annum to Rs.15 lakhs per annum.
