See, if you become an expert in practicals or able to solve the problem on the job, it has a scope there. Today, there are a lot of courses like BCA, MCA, BE, ME, in computers but not able to work practically. So, there are no scope. So, its up to you whether how hard you are willing to do.

B.Tech computer science has huge scope in India. After computer science, you have huge opportunities to work in software companies. Initially, salary range at average institutions is Rs.25, 000 per month to Rs.50, 000 per month. In IIT average salary is Rs.9 lakhs per annum to Rs.15 lakhs per annum.
